During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. government passed the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act which, among other things, granted students financial aid funds through their higher education institutions. This form allowed students to communicate how they wanted to spend their granted funds.
1 ½ weeks
Eligible students are sent notification emails announcing their awarded grants with a link to allocate their funds. Based on prior eligibility, students were awarded different grant amounts. After logging in and verifying their personal information, the users are asked to indicate how they would like their grant amount allocated. Upon submission, the user's information is passed to the proper administrative personnel to disburse the students' funds.
